VVelmir

Close the day, on purpose.

Velmir is a quiet, private journal for the end of the day. Write one honest entry, tend the goals and Seasons you care about, and — when you're ready — let opt-in AI read your own words back to you.

Three small acts. Every evening.

Velmir is built on a simple idea: reflection beats resolution. Five quiet minutes before sleep, repeated, becomes a life that knows itself.

  • Open the journal.

A single prompt is waiting — or a blank page if you'd rather. No streak guilt on your writing, ever. Just one honest question to land on, and a paragraph or a line.

  • Check in on what matters.

The goals you're tending — daily, weekly, or one-time — sit right beside your entry, each laddering up to the Season's intention. Tap the ones you kept; your streaks remember the rest.

  • Mark the day.

A mood, a photo, a closing line. Velmir tucks tonight into a calendar of evenings you can scroll back through whenever the season turns.

A small, careful toolkit for becoming.

  • One good question a night.

Pull from a curated library of evening prompts, or write your own. Mix the two however the season demands.

  • The quiet kind of consistency.

Daily, weekly, or one-time goals — color-coded, gently grouped, each laddering up to a quarter-long Season you set. Streaks reset honestly when life happens. No shame baked in.

  • Name how it landed.

A single word — Velmir remembers the weather of your week.

  • Your own words, read back to you.

Turn on AI whenever you're ready, and Velmir surfaces the patterns across your entries — then lets you ask questions of your own writing. Opt-in, server-side, never used to train anything.

  • A quiet log of your year.

Scroll back through the evenings. Find a feeling, re-read it, learn the shape of your weeks and seasons.

Your evenings are yours.

A journal is the most honest place a person owns. We treat yours that way: encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated to you, and never monetized. AI stays off until you turn it on. No ads, no analytics on your words, no training on your pages.

  • Encrypted and isolated to you.

Your entries travel over TLS and are encrypted at rest, fenced off to your account alone by per-user security rules. No other user can reach your writing.

  • AI only when you ask for it.

AI is off by default. Turn it on and your recent entries are sent — securely, server-side — only to generate your reflections. Never to advertisers. Never to train a model. Turn it off and that stops.

  • Export and delete, on your terms.

Save a typeset copy of every entry whenever you like, and delete your account — and all your journal content with it — in a couple of taps. No friction, no hostage-taking.

Tonight is a good place to start.
